The Witch was sick of the local townies clacking about and getting ready for their 'cutesy' Halloween celebration. They only recognized this sacred + spooky night once per year, whilst she lives it 365, 24-7.
She decided to summon up her goblins and got to work, wreaking havoc!
They set things to sour and ruin and made hauntingly horrific noises as they raced through the streets. After they dilapidated the entire village, they returned to their dark forest sanctuary. There, the Witch brewed a tremendously potent potion in her trusty black pot. The vaporous cloud spread out over the entire town, and the spell was cast!
What spell, exactly, did she cast? Well, that will remain a secret between the Witch and her goblins.....
